Job Description: Sawyer / Shop Supervisor

Salary Position: excellent salary / based on abilities and experience

Requirements: minimum 2-5 years experience as Sawyer or Shop Supervisor or both

Note: Very discriminating customer base average fabrication / installations are NOT acceptable. Must be able meet high level of customer fabrication satisfaction and be able to put out 40square feet of finished product per (8) hour day.

Sawyer Reports to Ownership

Must:

  • be dependable and organized with prior references
  • be responsible for daily delegation of all fabrication tasks and hit daily schedule of (40) finished square per man in fabrication
  • effectively and efficiently work with scheduling to ensure schedule is balanced and met on daily basis
  • effectively and efficiently communicate and delegate work to shop personnel to ensure schedule is met on daily basis
  • make recommendations to ownership on hiring and release of shop personnel
  • keep an organized / clean shop
  • Spanish a plus
  • be responsible for maintenance of all shop equipment and delegate shop maintenance and cleaning on a daily / weekly / monthly / basis
  • responsible for accurate / efficient / responsible consumables usage and order submissions so shop does not run out and work with office manager to place orders
  • Water Treatment Technologies water system knowledge (operation and maintenance) a huge plus

Job Title: Lead Installer

Salary Position: excellent salary / based on abilities and experience

Requirements: minimum 3-5 years experience as Lead Installer

Note: Very discriminating customer base average installations are NOT acceptable. Must be able meet high level of customer installation satisfaction.

Must:

  • be dependable and organized with prior references
  • be able to professional represent company to end customer base
  • have English speaking skills to effectively communicate with customer base
  • have ability to install intricate jobs and make recommendations on site to end customer when needed
  • excellent hand tool skills to be able to:
    • perform repairs of all types to both granite and quartz based products
    • face polish scratches
    • repair cracks
    • pull tight / level seams with finished edges that match mating pieces exactly with same level of polish
  • be able to accurately and efficiently template (both hard template and draw) with ability to determine seam placement based on slab sizes given to maximize material usage
  • effectively interface with shop personnel to explain templates and related information for layout and cutting
  • have a valid drivers license

Job Title: Installer Helper

Salary Position: excellent salary / based on abilities and experience

Requirements: minimum 1-3 years experience as helper to Lead Installer

Note: Very discriminating customer base average installations are NOT acceptable. Must be able meet high level of customer installation satisfaction.

Must:

  • be dependable and organized with prior references
  • be professional and have the ability to carry and move stone efficiently without damage to stone or customer surroundings
  • be able to effectively communicate with and follow instructions of lead installer
  • have ability to assist in installations of all types
  • hand tool skills a plus
  • ability to learn and be trained as a future installer / templater
  • have a valid drivers license if driving

Job Title: Shop Fabricator

Salary Position: excellent salary / based on abilities and experience

Requirements: minimum 1-3 years experience as shop fabricator

Note: Very discriminating customer base average fabrication / installations are NOT acceptable. Must be able meet high level of customer fabrication satisfaction and be able to put out 40square feet of finished product per (8) hour day.

Reports to Shop Supervisor

Must:

  • be dependable, hard working and organized with prior references
  • able to step right in and polish / setup and edge with Master 3500 starting first day
  • ability to immediately step in and accurately / efficiently use polishers / grinders and all hand tools to meet daily requirement of 40 square feet of finished product per man
  • ability to communicate and take direction / training from shop supervisor
  • understanding of mark pieces from templates for shop fabrication edging / polishing/ bowl cutting
  • clean up and return of all equipment / tooling to appropriate place a shop requirement
  • operation of Park Wizard / Park Fastback a huge plus
  • maintenance of hand tools a plus
  • Water Treatment Technologies water system knowledge (operation and maintenance) a huge plus
  • ability to learn new equipment grow into shop supervisor position
  • make recommendations to shop supervisor on consumables / tools usage and needs
  • Spanish / English skills a plus

Job Title: Sales Associate

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the development of new customer accounts and hitting agreed upon monthly and annual revenue goals. The position reports directly to the executive management.

1. Planning:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales revenue objectives based on agreed upon annual sales plans projections established with executive management.

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing goal to actual results on a monthly basis, to include any revisions and modifications to be brought for approval by executive management.

The Sales Associate is responsible for meeting defined sales goals each and every month.

The Sales Associate, in coordination with the executive management, establishes both geographical market area and target customers to achieve revenue goals for the company.

2. Execution:

This position is specifically responsible for the meeting monthly revenue goals through successful growth management of new customer accounts in order to meet their sales revenue objectives and that of the company’s overall business plan.

The Sales Associate manages their outside sales accounts. The position specifically is responsible for field sales, the development of new sales accounts to support revenue objectives and all customer support functions related to their accounts for the business.

The Sales Associate defines, manages and is responsible for meeting their monthly and annual sales objectives in conjunction with the business plan.

The Sales Associate is expected to spend all their time in the field, in the development, management and growth new individual accounts to achieve their revenue objectives.

The Sales Associate, while not expected to have but would be a huge plus, in the bringing of any key current customer accounts, contacts and knowledge, as well as having knowledge and proficiency of the countertop market and industry.

The Sales Associate is expected to perform and maintain all required quote follow up documentation related to their accounts to include customer specific requirements in an effort to win every job and review this information with executive management on a periodic basis through formal sales meetings.

The Sales Associate will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating their expenses related accounting administration per company policy and procedure.

3. Sales Associate Profile:

  • Has worked in outside field sales and development of new sales accounts.
  • Has been a Sales Associate in the construction industry and preferably the cabinet / stone & solid surface counter top industry in the same operating geographical region.
  • Has developed and executed sales plans including monthly and annual account sales objectives.
  • Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
  • Is a demonstrated leader among employees.
  • Is highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking programs.
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
    Equally strong listening skills

Experience:

Minimum 2-4 years, preferably all in outsides sales account development

Attributes:

  • Highly customer focused.
  • Strong leadership qualities both with customers and employees
  • Highly efficient
  • Ability to follow company policy and prodedures
  • Remain flexible when customer conditions require.
  • Execute proactive thinking and problem solving when needed
